Good Evening Vulcan Families! Tomorrow Friday, March 25 is a half day for students due to teacher professional development in the afternoon.
Vassar Families, we are so excited to say that last night the Board of Education approved a balanced calendar for the 2022-2023 school year. A balanced calendar is similar to a traditional calendar but the 180 instructional student days are spread over 10.5 months instead of 9. Summer break will be shorter but there will be more frequent mini-breaks during the year. Please watch the Vulcan View that will be shared on Friday, it will have more information on the educational benefits of a balanced calendar.
Visit the Art display for Vassar High School and Vassar Middle School art students at Bavarian Inn in Frankenmuth starting tonight at 5:00pm and available all week until Thursday at 4:00pm. The show is free of charge and filled with beautiful student pieces!

A special THANK YOU to the Vassar Nazarene Church for their donations to our school! We were gifted with snow pants, hats, gloves, clothes, socks, personal care items and more! Thank you to all church members that donated, it was all so appreciated and will be distributed between our buildings.
Vassar Families: We will have an additional double run on the Duck Bus #20-11. Students riding the duck bus will be dropped off later than normal today. We will still have a double run this afternoon for the rhino bus it will be back to a normal schedule tomorrow. Double runs will continue for the Swan Bus #21-3 until further notice.
