Dear Parents/Guardians,
To ensure that your children continue to receive free lunch and breakfast, it is essential that all families complete the Education Benefits Form (EBF). We are aiming for 100% participation from our families, as this form is required to maintain our funding for these free meal programs.
The EBF forms (blue) were included in the folders handed out during Open House. We greatly appreciate those who have already submitted the form. However, if you haven’t yet completed it, please do so as soon as possible. We need one (1) form per family/household.
Here are the ways you can complete the form:
Digital Submission: Fill out the form online using this link and email it to pchesny@vassar.k12.mi.us.
Print and Return: Print the attached form and return it to your child’s school office.
In-Person Pickup: Forms will be available at Parent-Teacher Conferences on Thursday, October 10th.
Office Pickup: Forms are available in both the 6-12 and Central offices.
Your timely response is crucial, as we are approaching the deadline for compliance. If you haven’t completed the form yet, please submit it as soon as possible.

Intersession forms for the 6-12 building will be sent home Monday, October 7. Intersession will be offered October 28, 2024 - November 1, 2024 for high school students who need to participate in credit recovery or 6th-12th grade students who need attendance intervention/make-up. Forms will be due no later than October 18. All 11th and 12th grade students who attend Tuscola Technology Center and/or Dual Enrollment are expected to attend those programs during intersession.

On October 3rd, 20% of McDonald's Mobile Order and Pay sales from the Vassar McDonald's will be going to our athletic program!! Please help us out by using your McDonald's App for ordering on Thursday, Oct. 3rd!

Join us to receive guidance and get questions answered regarding financial aid and post-secondary planning! A Michigan Financial Aid representative will speak with 12th grade students about their options individually during school on October 17th and 18th, and is holding a presentation open to parents of 11th and 12th grade students on October 17th from 6-7:30 in the high school media center.
