
Vassar Public Schools is proud to announce that the summer feeding program for children 0-18 and all special needs children 0-26 is returning.
Join us every Monday beginning June 7 from 3:30-5:30 at Townsend North to obtain 7 days of breakfast and lunch. If a holiday falls on Monday we will move meal pick up that week to Tuesday.

Vassar Public Schools is proud to announce that School of Choice Applications will be accepted from June 21- September 3 for students in grades K-12. If you know a student that lives outside of the Vassar district who would like to attend one of our great schools for the 2021-2022 school year please contact Stacy in the Superintendentās office at 989-823-8535.

Attention all virtual and face-to-face students! It is time for Chromebooks and charging cables to be returned to the district so proper inventory and updates can be performed. Chromebooks should be returned to your student's school office tomorrow, June 3.

Good Evening Vulcan Families! If you have a student who will be joining us for the summer Vulcan Achieve Camp or Summer School and will need bussing, transportation slip must be turned in tomorrow.

Ascension Medical Group of Vassar is offering free sports physicals on Wednesday June 2nd. Physicals will be offered for students entering grades 6-12 and will take place in the high school gym beginning at 1pm. Physical cards are available in the athletic office.

Attention 6th-12th grade parents! If you would like your final report card mailed home, please turn in a self addressed stamped envelope to the 6-12 Office. Please make sure the envelope is addressed to the parent and also has the student's name written on the envelope too.

If you are attending the Vassar Graduation Ceremony tonight at 7:30, please do not sit lawn chairs on the track surface. Guests are allowed to sit in the home or visitor bleachers, or you may bring your own lawn chair and sit along the fence line or on the football field inside the roped off area. There is no limit set for guests, we hope you can join us to celebrate our 2021 Seniors!

Tomorrow Friday, May 28, 2021 students will have a half day of school with no school on Monday, May 31. Face-to-face students will return to the classroom on Tuesday, May 25. Have a safe Memorial Day.


Today all 6th-8th grade in person students will be bringing home their last Family Fun Pack! The Term 4 Family Fun Pack, includes a cool miniature indoor/outdoor herb garden and snacks! Enjoy time with your family planting the seeds, watching them grow and using them when you cook!
All fun packs this year were sponsored by the SIG Family/Community Group, working to provide our students with activities to do together with their families! We hope you have enjoyed each of them and as we grow closer to the end of the year we hope you have a great summer!

Vulcan Families: There will be a double run on the Duck Bus #20-11 tomorrow morning Thursday, May 27. Students riding the Duck bus will be picked up later than normal.

The Department of Health and Human Services, Immunization Division wants to remind families that Michigan Schools are required to report immunization records regardless of if a student is virtual, or face-to-face. Please see the attached letter from MDHHS for more information.
