Literacy Lights Night is this Thursday, November 7th! This evening is planned to help your child’s reading and writing with fun activities, games, and helpful resources. You’ll learn new ways to support literacy at home, meet others, and take home useful materials. Check the flyer for more details!
Junior popcorn fundraiser! Help our Junior class raise money for prom! Juniors will be selling from Nov. 4-15. Anyone interested can contact an 11th grade student or the HS Office @ 989-823-8534.
Central Families: Please see the attached informed consent letter for the "Kids Have Rights" presentations which will take place on Tuesday, November 19th, for all students in grades Y5-3. Your student will be bringing this home by Wednesday, November 6th. After reading through the letter, if you do not want your student to participate, please contact Central Elementary at (989) 823-8566.
Vassar High School Youth In Government has a strong delegation this year! Our 40 delegates spent the day at Delta prepping for the spring conference in Lansing.

We can't thank Vassar Church of the Nazarene enough for the donations to our schools! Their donations of sweatpants, belts and shoes for our elementary and MS/HS Clothes Closets, as well as school supplies, and personal hygiene products were very much appreciated.

Staff and students had a blast at Central Elementary's Halloween Parade and Pumpkin Guts celebration today! Thank you to all of the parents who were able to join us, the Central Parent Coalition for organizing Pumpkin Guts, and Officer Hammill and Mrs. Ziel for gifting students a bag of Halloween goodies!
