9/24/20 Vassar Vulcans, On Friday, October 2, 2020 our school district is going to do a totally remote learning day at home. On Thursday, October 1, 2020 all students will take home an assigned Google Chromebook if they don’t have a device available at home already. If a student has not returned a Google Chromebook from the summer, another Chromebook will not be sent home. Teachers will be working with students to prepare for learning on Compass or Edgenuity platforms on October 2, 2020. This is a practice run, to work out issues and problems so if our district would need to go into a remote only situation we would be prepared. At the beginning of the school year, we passed out hotspots for families that needed internet access. There is also access through WIFI in the parking lot at the 6-12 building. If your family does not have access, please contact your school office. Tech Center students will be excused that day, and no bus service available. Students may drive if they chose to go to Tech Center. The homecoming football game will be played with Facebook access found as a live link on Vassar Football Live Stream. Only guests of athletes pre-ticketed will be allowed in the stadium Friday, October 2. No gathering around the perimeter of the facility. The homecoming court member with parents will drive in at half-time for the crowning and pictures. The second ½ of the game will begin when the court has departed. Important information from the Tuscola Health Department

Food Pick Up: Monday, Sept. 14 at 3:30 pm for all families with children, you don't need an ID or student in the car to pick up seven days of breakfast and lunch. Please come to the cafeteria doors at the 6-12 building.

The athletic department is looking for help during home football games. If interested please contact Jenni Whitney.
