Thank you to Team One Credit Union! Mrs. Piazza received a $100 grant to put toward the foster student backpack initiative project that she is leading. She will add this to two other grants she received from Frankenmuth Credit Union!
The backpacks for foster students are packed and ready to go! The goal is whenever we receive a new foster student to our district, this student will be greeted with a backpack. The backpacks are filled with essentials like a pillow, blanket, towel, school supplies, etc - items that they can call their own no matter where they have to travel to.
Seniors Madalyn Paquette, Adelle Shoens, and Taylor Mangold all worked with Mrs. Piazza on this for their senior project - they did a great job!
We are so grateful for the support of Frankenmuth Credit Union, Team One Credit Union and our local community!
