
Today for Homecoming Spirit Week, the staff got into the spirit with Adam Sandler Day! Thanks Mary and Carol from True Value for joining in for Spirit Week!

In the old Central parking lot across from the high school building, you'll see a car that is an example of what can happen when someone drinks and drives.
Drunk Driving awareness is presented by Vassar Police Department sponsored by 10 Point Towing.

After school tutoring for Middle and High School students will be starting Monday, Sept. 18 in the Media Center from 3:15-4:15. Any student who needs extra help or a place to stay caught up on work is welcome to attend. Transportation will be available, but students must have the transportation form filled out and turned into the office before riding the bus. Contact the MS/HS Office for a transportation form.


Homecoming Information for the Freshman Class & Freshman Parents:
We will begin decorating hallways and wagons for Homecoming starting Monday September 18th. Below is the schedule of times. We will have a plan and materials. If you would like to join in on the fun of Homecoming please come join us.
Our theme will be āRemember the Vulcansā
Our assigned decade is 2000. We will be basing our dĆ©cor on the movie āRemember the Titansā
Our schedule for Homecoming decorating will be:
Monday- 3:15 to 5:00 then 6:00 ā 7:00 pm
Tuesday, Wednesday- 3:15 to 6:00
We will then see what time is needed after this.
All freshmen are welcome to come help decorate. They must have their own ride home. Transportation will not be provided.


The Mobile Dentist is coming soon and is open to all Vassar Public School students K-12! Contact Nurse Greer to sign up or if you have questions.

Congratulations to Mr. Schuler on obtaining a state-funded grant that will cover approximately 90% of the cost for our students to attend the fall and spring Youth In Government conferences! This grant is worth approximately $29,000! Thank you, Mr. Schuler for working diligently to offer YIG to our students at Vassar Public Schools!


The Robotics Car Smash is back! It will take place during both the powder puff and Homecoming games. $1 a swing, 30 seconds for $5, or 4 minutes for $20.
Participants must have a waiver signed, students will get these in mentoring so a parent can sign them beforehand. Come take out some aggression on our car donated by Barnums and support the Robotics team.


Mrs. Heinlein's mentoring class decorated their door to show how much they appreciate our custodians! THANK YOU TO ALL OF THE WONDERFUL CUSTODIANS IN OUR SCHOOLS!
